Victorian Cyber Schools Challenge

Our Coding Extension group had a great day at ACMI last Wednesday attending the 2018 Victorian School Cyber Challenge awards.  We learnt lots about Cyber Security and found out that hacking can also be a good thing and not always bad.

Nao is the time

Meet the Nao robots!  We are very lucky that Watsonia Library will have these clever robots visiting them in April this year.  During term 1 the grade 4 students will be working hard in coding sessions to create programs for these robots and  on Tuesday April 17th  we will test them out when we visit Watsonia Library.

eSmart Week

September 4th to 8th Watsonia Primary School celebrated eSmart week in our coding lessons.

During term 4 we will be introducing some students to Microsoft 365 with their own log ins and emails.  It is important all students gain skills from Prep onwards to learn about how to keep their details safe and what appropriate behaviour is expected when using different products online.
